Walking your little one through the gates for the first time can bring a lot of anxiety and tears (for both of you). However, after meeting our staff and seeing our centre, you’ll be more than confident that your child is going to receive the care and education that will best prepare them for their school years and beyond.

 

Edelweiss Child Care Centre is a privately owned centre and has been operating in Mortdale for over 40 years, 20 of which are by the current owner. Our Child Care Centre caters for children between the ages of 2 and 6 years with a range of exciting educational programs and activities in a high quality long day care setting.

Your child will be in either our Early Learners room for children aged 2-3 years where they will be engaged in a play based program that encourages the development of socialisation and co-operative play skills, or our Preschool room for 3.5-6 years of age, where they will participate in our Preparation for School program. This program has been designed by our highly trained and experienced senior teaching staff, in conjunction with the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring your child is ready for the transition to schooling.

At Edelweiss Child Care Centre you’ll find a friendly team of bi-lingual and experienced teachers and staff who are dedicated to providing a quality daily program for each and every child, with a stimulating and educational environment to foster growing and curious minds.

Edelweiss Child Care is a long day care centre so we are open from 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday, and we are open 49 weeks of the year. We are closed on Public Holidays and for three weeks over Christmas. Our Centre fees are $135 per child per day.
